Learn to Relax

Everyone is familiar with some kind of stress in their life. We experience it in varying forms and degrees every day. In small doses, stress can actually be beneficial to us, but it can also make us sick.

Learning to control stress is easier said than done because sometimes we don’t even recognize the damage it’s done until it’s too late. That’s why it’s so important to understand and try to alleviate it through some form of stress management.

Stress management involves controlling and reducing the tension that occurs in stressful situations by making emotional and physical changes. Click on this link from the National Institutes of Health/Medline Plus to help you understand stress, how it impacts your health and what you can do to try to control it.
