Drink Less

Drinking too much alcohol has immediate effects that can increase the risk of many harmful health conditions, both physically and mentally.

Excessive alcohol use, either in the form of heavy drinking, which means, drinking more than two drinks per day on average for men, or more than one drink per day on average for women, or binge drinking, which means, drinking 5 or more drinks during a single occasion for men, or 4 or more drinks during a single occasion for women, can lead to increased risk of health problems such as liver disease or unintentional injuries.*

The facts about alcohol and it’s impact on your body keep changing. Use your good judgment and try to practice LESS WINING. When in doubt, talk to your doctor or healthcare professional about any on-going personal use or possible abuse of alcohol.
